Pendragon's School of Real Magic, Witchcraft and Wizardry are an independent magical order based in Cornwall, UK. Our sigil is the Sea Eagle, a large and magnificent bird of prey which has been endangered in the UK for decades but  is currently making a comeback to coastal areas such as Scotland and around the beautiful wild and windswept Cornish headlands. Soaring high above the clifftops and swooping down to dip its talons into the salt spray the Sea Eagle is a bird that embodies the splendor of life itself, far sightedness, talent and tenacity. It is an inspirational bird, and a proud and fitting emblem for our school and students.

At Pendragon's School of Real Magic, Witchcraft and Wizardry we aim to show our students practical ways in which they can discover the awe inspiring power of real magic. We hope to ignite a passion for creating real magic spells and using witchcraft as a powerful catalyst for creating a new and more successful life.

McTavish International Academy Of Magical Sciences

McTavish International Academy Of Magical Sciences

View from McTavish Academy grounds on the shore of Loch Ness.

The most preeminent and exclusive school of magic on Earth located in the magical highlands of Scotland on the shores of the mystical and picturesque Loch Ness. The entire academy, including the students. are invisibly cloaked via powerful magicks. The school was founded in 1333 by one of the most famous and powerful Sorcerers of all time, Ian McTavish. He was born in Inveraray, Scotland in 1142 from a long line of magical practitioners, including hereditary witches, that extended back to the building of Stonehenge. He was a child prodigy of magic and quickly advanced his skills to Wizardry and eventually became a top flight Sorcerer. His magicks became so powerful that he was able to reverse his aging process and stay forever young. Today he is still the immortal Headmaster of the MIAMS and is generally thought to be one of the most powerful persons to wield magic on Earth. He started the magical school to forge an enchanted path of goodness around the Earth. He wished to shape countess generations of good people to wield magic as a force of righteousness in the eternal fight against evil. It was the first school of it’s kind, and spawned a handful of other magical institutions around the Earth.

The academy is open to those who pass a test of magical potential. Students mostly come from families with supernatural backgrounds. The school teaches various classes, that encompass witchcraft, wizardry, sorcery, and other paranormal studies, to those ages six and up. Generally those under 18 attend a normal school during the year and attend McTavish in the summer months although some choose to have their kids attend the school exclusively and then come home in the summer. This is possible since they also teach the same classes you’d find in a normal public school. Adults over 18 attend as a magical college to master various magical arts. The most gifted of students often end up becoming teachers and professors. A number of students live at the school to get the full experience or don’t have the magical means to make the daily commute from around the world. Each continent in the world, except Antarctica, has a handful of magical portholes to the Academy that allow for instant teleportation there which cuts the journey time greatly. However in the past decade the North American porthole had to be shut down due to constant detection by the US Paranormal Defense Agency. It seems a traitor, most likely a former Professor, or student, decided to help them out! In addition, each ocean has a porthole so water dwelling beings, such as mermaids, can attend it they wish. Although they mostly attend the Atlantean Academy Of Mystical Arts located in the undersea city of Atlantis in the Atlantic Ocean.

Computer science is far and beyond the most lucrative degree in the country — if you attend the right school.

Deciding among the top universities is tougher than ever, with many schools building out their tech programs in recent years. QS World University Rankings crunched the numbers to make the choice clearer.

QS's annual ranking highlights the best universities in the world for studying computer science and information systems, using data based on academic reputation (measured by a global survey that asked academics to identify the institutions where they believe the best work is currently taking place within their field of expertise) and citations per faculty.

"Generally, the more often a piece of research is cited by others, the more influential it is," QS notes.

The University of Manchester (UoM) is a public research university in the city of Manchester, England, formed in 2004 by the merger of the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (renamed in 1966, est. 1956 as Manchester College of Science and Technology) which had its ultimate origins in the Mechanics' Institute established in the city in 1824[7] and the Victoria University of Manchester founded by charter in 1904 after the dissolution of the federal Victoria University (which also had members in Leeds and Liverpool), but originating in Owens College, founded in Manchester in 1851.[8] The University of Manchester is regarded as a red brick university, and was a product of the civic university movement of the late 19th century. It formed a constituent part of the federal Victoria University between 1880, when it received its royal charter, and 1903–1904, when it was dissolved.

The University of Manchester is a Russell Group University. With almost 40,000 students, it boasts the largest student community in the UK.

With all its higher education institutions combined, the city of Manchester has the largest student population in Europe, which makes for a lively and welcoming atmosphere for its student body, that come from all over the world.

Teaching at the university is divided into four faculties, each housing individual schools. These are the faculties of Life Sciences, Humanities, Medical and Human Sciences, and Engineering and Physical Sciences.

The university campus, situated on Oxford Road, is the largest estate in UK higher education, spanning 270 hectares with 245 buildings, 24 of which are listed. It is within walking distance from the city centre and close to Curry Mile, a road famous for its curry houses and Middle Eastern supermarkets.

Travelling up Curry Mile, you find yourself in Fallowfield, the student village that is home to many of the university’s halls of residence as well as a vast array of pubs, bars and food outlets.

The university’s library holds more than four million printed books and manuscripts, over 41,000 electronic journals and 500,000 e-books. It is also one of just five National Research Libraries. Other notable buildings owned by the university are the Whitworth art gallery, which has benefited from a recent £15 million renovation, the Manchester Museum, and the Jodrell Bank Observatory in Cheshire.

Manchester claims to having the largest alumni network of any campus-based university in the UK, comprising more than 300,000 people from over 190 countries. Among them are the actor Benedict Cumberbatch and the physicist Brian Cox.

In addition, the university also counts 25 Nobel Prize winners among its current and former staff and students.

Princeton University is a private institution that was founded in 1746. It has a total undergraduate enrollment of 5,391, its setting is suburban, and the campus size is 600 acres. It utilizes a semester-based academic calendar. Princeton University's ranking in the 2016 edition of Best Colleges is National Universities, 1. Its tuition and fees are $43,450 (2015-16).

Princeton, the fourth-oldest college in the United States, is located in the quiet town of Princeton, New Jersey. Within the walls of its historic ivy-covere
d campus, Princeton offers a number of events, activities and organizations. The Princeton Tigers, members of the Ivy League, are well known for their consistently strong men's and women's lacrosse teams. Students live in one of six residential colleges that provide a residential community as well as dining services but have the option to join one of more than 10 eating clubs for their junior and senior years. The eating clubs serve as social and dining organizations for the students who join them. Princeton's unofficial motto, "In the Nation's Service and in the Service of All Nations," speaks to the university's commitment to community service.

Princeton includes highly ranked graduate programs through the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs and School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. One unique aspect of Princeton's academic program is that all undergraduate students are required to write a senior thesis. Notable alumni include U.S. President Woodrow Wilson; John Forbes Nash, subject of the 2001 film "A Beautiful Mind"; model/actress Brooke Shields; and first lady Michelle Obama. According to Princeton legend, if a student exits campus through Fitz Randolph Gate prior to graduation, he or she may be cursed never to graduate.
